About Arran Pearson

An experienced technology, operations and risk professional with more than 25 years working both client side and consulting with my sweet spot being implementing complex programmes with a tech and / or risk flavour.Over the course of my career I've been lucky enough to be involved in several landmark projects and ventures including:- being one of the first hires for AT&T Bell Laboratories outside of the US when they set up a group in Sydney- leading the development for Australia's first Online Banking solution (way back in 1996)- working with some amazing folks as a volunteer on a little Standard known as AS/NZS 4444 which eventually grew up to become the ISO 27001 bible that we all love to hate.- leading a stream of CBA's core banking programme - one of the largest IT projects ever undertaken by a major bank- and embedding an operational risk framework into a new business for Standard Chartered across 28+ countries.I can't wait to see what's next!
