Tellabs Product to support the L2-Switching concepts in various platforms like 86X0 and 860X. SCRUM 2 - Sustenance team is part of Tellabs ODC’s (8602 Board Bring-up and validated new and existing functionality) team. The sustenance team fixes bugs for different platforms, 860X and 86X0 series of routers. The scope involves fixing bugs reported in testing team for specific features for 8602 and porting existing code to new 8602 platform to fixed the bug and validate.Role and Responsibility• Involved in various bug fixing in Tellabs products.• Code Review and to do some performance unit testing.

Cisco IOS (Internetworking operating system) is an operating system, which is used in the primary control program for its router and switch. This software uses its own set of command-line-interface (CLI) and IOS is widely used and robust system software that supports the common functions of all products. The Cisco provides set of services like memory, CPU and buffers. The CPU must have access to data in memory to make decisions or to get instructions. The IOS mainly used to configure, monitor and troubleshoot the system. Interface Descriptor Block is a data structure to store interface related information for accounting purpose. The IDB is split into a hardware descriptor (HWIDB) - physical channel interface descriptor, and software descriptor (SWIDB) - an end point to which packet should be routed.The protocols and drivers attach information to hardware and software idb using the Cisco IOS sub block support High availability (HA) is not a standalone feature, but instead an approach to implementing a variety of interrelated features as tools to ensure business resilience and maintain end-to-end availability for services, users, devices, and applications. High availability should be incorporated at many layers. The Serve Smart is a full-fledged retail automation project for restaurant segment. The System takes care of the complete automation of the restaurant business. This project gives a solution for ordering, stock control, reports, utility, management functions, message service, till status etc... This project contains four components1. Web Application2. Host Application3. KIOSK Application4. KOT Display These four components are interrelated with each other and my part is to handle the host application as well as kiosk application. In kiosk we are using GTK for designing the screens and MySQL is the back-end for this kiosk application to communicate through TCP/IP socket.
