Held the title of PBIS Coach on the PBIS Team and 3rd Grade Team Leader for the school's Leadership Team. Planned and implemented biliteracy units. Spent two months over the summer working with the NC Science Festival developing solar system and flight curriculum for the Kenan Fellow Program. Researched flight and collaborated with museums, libraries, and community flight groups across the state. The NC Science Festival will pilot my lessons in public library settings throughout North Carolina this year (2015) in a program called "Library Labs" for the duration of the science festival in the spring.Currently implementing the curriculum and refining it in my third grade classroom. Will present the final biliteracy unit to teachers in my district and across the state.
