The role involves motivating fundraising callers and ensuring that targets are reached and that callers stay on track to reach the targets. The role also involves using databases such as raisers edge to answer questions about alumni which aren't visible on the calling software. Further to this, helping create weekly rotas and upload hours into a spreadsheet to ensure people are paid is also part of the role.

Upon successfully completing an internship with the College of Life Sciences and Medicine, this role was created for me to continue the work I had started. The role involves researching overseas Universities in North America and Europe to gather information about courses so as to create a website containing information that University of Aberdeen students can access to find out what courses they should study when on exchange. The role also involves creating combinations of courses which we can present to North American institutions to increase awareness of the courses offered and which would result in increased students coming to the University of Aberdeen either by reciprocal exchange or through study abroad (fee paying).

The role involves phoning alumni to inform and update them about what is happening at the University of Aberdeen both in terms of events the university is hosting and projects which the university is undertaking. Alumni are then asked to help support one of the projects to allow the University to continue to grow and excel.

Worked for the College of Life Sciences and Medicine and reviewed the issues surrounding students going on exchange. Gathered information about the University's North American exchange partners and with this information created a leaflet to promote international exchange within the college and a website (http://abdn.ac.uk/clsm/undergraduate/north-america.php) to help inform students what they should study while on exchange.

The role involved giving sky customers information about their bill and dealing with any queries and issues surrounding their bill. The role also involved giving technical support to customers who were experiencing issues with their sky tv.
