Demerara Mutual is one of the oldest insurance companies in Guyana. It opened it's doors in 1891. As a Director on the Board, I head the Audit and Risk sub-committees.

Power Producers & Distributors Inc. is a Government of Guyana State Entity established to Operate and Maintain its electricity power generating facilities throughout the length and breath of Guyana. Among my main functions and achievements are:- prepared, presented and validated the technical and financial feasibility of the entity- led the strategic plan development and implementation - design the organizational structure of the entity- led the start-up activities of the entity including legal, human resources, accounting, procurement- led the negotiations of the Operations and Maintenance Contract with the National Utility- led a profitable state entity without any injection of capital from the state

Wartsila Operations Guyana Inc. (WOGI) is a subsidiary of Wartsila Corporation of Finland. In Guyana WOGI manages an operations and maintenance agreement for five power plants owned by the national utility. WOGI is a key strategic partner in the electricity sector as it directly manages more than 90% of the generating capacity in two of the three counties in Guyana. •Provide the strategic impetus for the subsidiary of a multinational corporation consisting of 5 locations. • Actively involved in the Contract preparation, review and negotiations with the national utility• Active involvement is the preparation and initial approver of the local subsidiary capital and operating budget• Strategic Human Resources management including, recruitment, training, succession planning, skills assessment and wellness program • Actively manage all aspects of the company’s activities including human resources, financial, planning, inventory management, purchasing, maintenance performance and risk management • Led the company through a transition period while it underwent change management and expansion• Through astute management and leadership ensured all set financial objectives were met. • Oversaw and managed a comprehensive plant refurbishment and capital equipment replacement project at the power plants.• Successfully implemented several activities of the Wärtsilä Operations Management processes – A Quality System. • Actively manage relationships with all stakeholders including, the customer, employees and government agencies.
