About to graduate with a Master of Arts in Economics, in the summer of 2024. Throughout my degree I’ve been in work, mainly in retail and hospitality roles. As of my last year I’m a fully trained barista at Costa!I spent time throughout my university experience branching out my skills so that I have the largest selection of possible career options, this includes learning to code, taking advanced computer science, econometric and mathematics courses while doing my economics degree.I plan on continuing to refine specific skills going forwards, such as gaining proficiency with python and stata by the end of 2024. Any opportunities that provide learning on these skills is highest on my priority list.I’ve long known that I’m a team player and best suited for roles that take on heavy responsibility, this stems from my hobbies as sports captain, as well as other engaging projects throughout the years, the national investment challenge being one.Currently my skills are:-Proficient with key microsoft software (excel, word, powerpoint, 4+years) - Degree in Economics - heavy focus on policy analysis, consumer theory and international trade.- Excellent and professional communication skills- Very mathematics driven, with a keen interest in financial mathematics and risk analysis.
