I started my role in Ami-con Supplies Ltd as a Warehouse Supervisor, late in 2017 and supervise a small team of warehouse operatives. On a daily basis I deal with both dispatch and receipt of orders against work orders (pick lists). Great attention to detail is required to ensure that orders are correctly dispatched, and any goods received match the purchase orders, in particular making sure that any spec is correct and expiry dates fall in line with Company policy. I also manage the staff work loads and double check dispatches for accuracy.The Company recently obtained their ISO9001 certification within the Aerospace industry; I have previous knowledge and experience dealing with audits and therefore have offered my assistance. I am now responsible for internal audits for our site in Silverstone. I was offered the opportunity to complete Dangerous Goods courses, and I am therefore now fully trained to dispatch dangerous goods by both air (IATA) and road (ADR). This is the most enjoyable part of the role for me as it takes a lot of concentration and thought.I have recently moved on to be Quality and Compliance Manager, as of January 2021. Dealing with internal and external audits for ISO9001, EN9100D EN9120B, RoHS and REACh Compliance, customer and supplier complaint resolution. I also completed a BSI course and received certification in auditing for the AS9100 standards as of 07/10/2021.
