Responsible for leading the Head Office function for the Systems department of Top Four security company Vision Security Group (part of Compass Group PLC), from sales administration and stock control to coordination and invoicing operations, achieved by heading a management team overseeing the effective deployment of a fleet of engineers or remote access across the UK and Ireland and responding to customer service queries and demands for continuous innovation as part of our dedicated account management of several high-profile bluechip clients.In addition to this, I was also charged with assisting the department through a company-wide OpEx journey, multi-facet in nature (ranging from staff engagement and customer service improvements to procurement and productivity-led cost control and process automation to realise significant margin enhancement), with a view to meeting and surpassing aggressive growth targets over two years, drawing upon previous experience in change management and CI delivery.

I headed an efficient part of a large, publicised operation processing complaint redress, managing links to a setup in London, following promotion from QA Officer after 8 months. Extracting value from quality and efficiency was the focus, instilling aims to transform grievances into positive customer journeys via applications of Lean philosophy that saw SLAs halved and 99%+ quality delivered, aided by experience leading teams performing initial investigations of complaints, where I played a key role in establishing an industry-leading PPI operation (sources: BBC, FOS). This culminated in a Leader of the Year 2013 nomination.Honed in risk management, recruitment, training, coaching and accreditation, I was responsible for maintaining effective controls in regulated environments whilst responding with versatility and creativity to issues, successfully negotiating programmes such as Backbook Reviews, remediation and proactive mailings of 200,000+ customers, typically leading a dozen work streams simultaneously.Recognising the significance upon value of eliminating waste, I led Lean and Six Sigma DMA-IC/DV drives to standardise and simplify practice, instigated a two-job culture of CI and shifted away from a reliance on output QC by instating method-driven QA, leading to uniform training and improved quality.Displaying effective stakeholder engagement and management, I led or co-led Ops' involvement in numerous projects and improvement pieces, guiding the organisation through a major HMRC policy change and conceiving the automation of payment QA (creating 99% capacity and saving £250k), for which I won a Commercial Contribution Award in 2014.Local successes resulted in a charge to streamline the E2E process in 2012, working with an OEE consultant to deliver savings of £1.2m. In 2013 I helped offshore part of this process to Genpact in a major strategic move, leading the knowledge transfer before travelling to Jaipur to support training and manage the transition.
