Position Overview:The Director of Facilities will be responsible for planning, directing, and monitor the activities and operations of the Facilities Services Division including grounds maintenance and facility construction and renovation. Manage the development of organizational strategies, policies and practices of the main facility. Responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of general maintenance and upkeep of the building, as well as the facility equipment. The position also contributes for the most part in the preparation of the day to day growth, and expansion continuance of the facility. Supervises facility usage, equipment maintenance, oversee upgrades, all utilities, security staff their duties and schedules. Ensure facility will meet needs of multiple individual projects and coordinate with any other department in need. When necessary establishes and administers policies & procedures for events and coordinated activities. Accountable for constantly preparing & maintaining a strict annual or quarterly budget for building usage and facility maintenance.Major Areas of Responsibility:Administers division goals and budgets for the Vialinx facility.• Legal relations • Internal & External Vendors • Construction and Renovations • Maintenance Department • Security • Imports and Exports • Immigration • Public Relations & Business • Performs other duties as assignedSpecific Responsibilities of the Job:Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new renovation, or re-organizing current premises. Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used.
