Junior Estimator
CurrentScope of Work: - Take Offs: Organizing and reviewing construction documents of a project, to prepare a quantitative list of all associated items and finishes to be priced by the project estimator. Process also includes sending out RFP's for material costs, communicating with contractors and vendors, and updating per bid document revisions. - Basic Estimating: Take off and pricing of entire jobs. Process includes understanding the processes of manufacturing, engineering, and installing the items within our scope of work to provide accurate project cost estimate. - Schematic Design - Aided in creating schematic plans, elevations, and models using AutoCAD for certain projects. - Teamwork - Aided Estimators and Engineers with creating work orders for acquired projects, setting up project key plans, and other tasks.- Office Work - Printing and organizing construction documents, organization of architectural finishes, communicating with Estimators, Engineers, and Project Managers. Programs learned and used: Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, SharePoint, Excel (including macros and pivot tables)
