I am a graduate from Delft University of Technology with a BSc and MSc degree in Electrical Engineering (both cum laude). During my studies, I specialized in Analog and RF/Wireless Design, including aspects of both system-level and circuit-level design.Having started in November 2019 at Arnold & Siedsma in Eindhoven, I am now a fully qualified Dutch patent attorney ('Octrooigemachtigde') and European patent attorney, as well as a representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).During my career in patent law, I have gained experience working with companies ranging from start-ups to large enterprises. My experience includes drafting and prosecution of patent applications, opposition, and advising on various aspects including but not limited to patentability, validity, infringement, freedom-to-operate, IP strategy, and the like.My particular expertise within patent law is in the fields of electronic circuits (analog/digital/RF), instrumentation, and semiconductor devices. Nevertheless, I have also worked on a large number of cases in other fields, such as mechanical, power electronics, control systems, software, artificial intelligence (machine learning), and telecommunications.
