Built and maintained new features for Duolingo's new tutor student messaging service, including conversation topics, free user promotion, messaging milestones, and send receipts.Worked as the primary Android engineer on these features using Kotlin and RxJava, while implementing backend changes with Python Flask and PostgreSQL. All code was put into production and used by the millions of Duolingo users on the Android application.

Managed a team of five React-Native engineers to develop the first Ivy League newspaper mobile application.Worked with a team of six engineers to create theshaft.info React + Node.js application, a user-oriented website that enables students to better navigate Columbia’s housing selection process resulting in an 80% student adoption rate and 16,000 logged sessions from March to April.Generated $150,000 in revenue last year by holding meetings with the sales and marketing teams to place targeted ads on our products.

Worked closely with IBM’s enterprise clients to develop Kubernetes and Docker cloud computing microservice backends to maximize website stability and user retention for their products. Created Python TensorFlow Neural Network time series model to predict the number of visitors on a client’s website resulting in a 40% decrease in website failures.
