BoF is the leading B2B media company for the global fashion community, with investors including Index Ventures, Felix Capital, LocalGlobe, Samos Investments, LVMH and the Financial Times. I was one of the first 3 employees, and helped build BoF from a blog with no revenues or funding, to a respected global media company with diversified revenue streams, a strong subscription business, and a team of 100+ in London, New York and Shanghai.  Highlights include:- Working closely with the founder to drive strategy, operational road-map and culture- Building and running the legal, finance, business development, people and operations teams- Working with the founder to raise funding from VCs in Seed, Series A and Series B rounds- Working on the launch of multiple products: sponsorship, advertising, events, online recruitment, content subscriptions, online education and Chinese edition

Worked on a legal-tech startup. I found a technical co-founder, and learnt many lessons, including how hard it is to build a product that people will pay for.  We ultimately decided not to proceed.  In parallel, I worked on freelance strategy projects, including an online B2B marketplace for a Fortune 100 co, and JV negotiations for one of the world's largest ETFs.

Hearst is one of the UK's largest magazine publishing companies.  I worked on developing new revenue streams, with a focus on ecommerce, partnerships and brand extensions, as well as to cost/operational synergies across the business. I realised that I wanted to do something more entrepreneurial, and left to work on a startup idea.

I worked on a range of projects from new market entry and new product development to post-merger reorganisation and learning and development.  My clients were in pharma, consumer electronics, financial services, automotive and mining, and were based across Europe, USA, North Africa, and Asia.

Fremantle is one of the world's largest TV production and distribution companies, with shows including American Idol and X-Factor.  I was brought in to help develop digital revenues, and worked on gaming, mobile content, interactive TV and licensing.

I was a federal prosecutor for Canada's antitrust regulatory agency, working on a mix of litigation, market investigations, M&A review and policy.  I acted as 'second-chair' on several precedent-setting complex litigation cases across from Canada’s leading law firms.  I gained deep experience in regulated industries as well as the intersection between IP and antitrust.
