As a techno-commercial expert, I lead the project development, EPC contracts, large-scale equipment procurement, material handling, feasibility studies, mine planning, and mining infrastructure planning and design for the coal mining operation. I ensure that the site achieves its production, cost and safety goals by collaborating with the technical and operational departments and creating effective strategies. Some of my key duties and responsibilities are:Key Duties & Responsibilities - Develop and execute short, intermediate and long term strategies that support the growth of the operation. Leading both technical and operational areas, by creating a working environment which ensures that the technical and operational departments collaborate to develop the correct plan to enable successful execution through operational discipline and compliance to plan.- Managing the project in all aspects of mining, technical and cost and aligning the long-term strategies with the organization’s objective.- Developing expansion feasibilities, project development plans and execution plans and coordinating with consultants for smooth project reviews and feasibility.- Bidding and contracting for EPC based contracts and managing EPC contractors, engineering consultants and equipment suppliers.- Developing long-range mine plans and reviewing medium and short-range plans.- Optimizing operating cost budgets for each year and controlling contractor mine plans compliance.- Deploying and procuring new equipment at site.- Preparing reports for lenders and regulators.- Coordinating with various stakeholders including government authorities for tariff and project approvals, environmental authorities, coal purchasers etc.

Worked as the lead function to develop the business model on mineral mining through various international consultants. Key responsibilites includes: - Gathering of geological data- Work in close coordination with international consultant including Mckinsey and DMT Gmbh to evaluate the mineral deposits- Develop exploration and mining plans for the projects- Coordination with various Govt authorities for projects

Worked on the Engineering designs and reviews for the Pakistan Largest open pit mine. I was also responsible to develop Expansion feasibilities, procurement of mining equipment, designs & management of EPC contractors and to ensure the completion of project within agreed targets.

Worked for development of various feasibilities studies, Project Development & execution plans for the largest Open pit Mine in Pakistan.
