My Job responsibilities are:•To identify, assess, monitor, mitigate and report on Operational risk in Bank through appropriate tools•Setting broad lines and policy for management of Operational Risk•Create Operational Risk awareness culture among the Departments and Branches •Calculate and review Capital Charge for Operational Risk •To maintain bank wide Operational Loss Database•Collating / Assessing information and trends on gaps, risks, breaches and control failures•To plan and establish new operational risk tools/ improvements in existing tools•Implementing Business Continuity Management (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to minimize operational risk•Review bank policies and procedures with respect to operational risk. Identify control weaknesses and suggest remedial measure•To establish and maintain Regulatory Risk Management framework •Reporting significant Operational Risks and Corporate Governance issues to management / BoD

My responsibilities are both as strategic partner to the business units advising them on risk issues and on the best way to identify and mange these issues as well as a risk controller setting parameters for risk activities and reviewing compliance with these parameters in order to ensure that the bank does not incur and undue risk without adequate them. Current Job responsibilities are:Working on “Compliance Risk Management (CRM)” It’s the framework for monitoring of compliance risk by line management, which are explicitly linked to the State Bank of Pakistan’s Prudential Regulations, Banking laws and regulations as set out in the “CRM Regulatory Matrix” Formulation of Operational Risk Policy, Framework and Appetite (Budgeting Based) Basel – II Implementations. Implementing Operational Risk Management Framework. Implementing COSO framework. Developed Operational Risk tools, such as KRIs, Heat MAP, CSA, OpLoss Database Coordinating SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) inspection team. Vetting Policies of the bank before implementing.
