Finance - Cost and AccountsKey roles and responsibilities include:• Controlling of overall Project cost of SECMC Phase I with special focus on keeping controllable cost outlook under the assigned target without contingency and within each tariff head.• Introduction & implementation with formulation of detailed cost models for overall budgeting strategy of each department in alignment with the business goals.• Introduction of automated business reports through SAP for budget monitoring to control and maintain cost numbers according to the needs of the business.• Development of quarterly cash flow forecasts and assisting in formulation of cash drawdown strategy to fulfill the requirement of the business and keep the variance between actual vs. forecast at minimum in turn reducing IDC. • Development of a comprehensive plan of Operation and Maintenance phase of the company and Takeover strategy of auxiliary operations along with risk analysis.• Introducing cost optimization strategies to reduce overall project cost resulting in the decrease of the overall coal price.• Timely preparation of monthly cost reports, quarterly Lender’s report and cost outlook for BOD with analysis of any variance of plan vs. actual.• Evaluation of purchase requisitions by departments for daily or project based requirements of the company.• Ensuring smooth processing and charging of invoices in their relevant cost heads in compliance with the guidelines assigned by the Thar Coal Energy Board.
