• During my time as a pre-sales engineer, I was responsible for:
• Designing and sizing network solutions tailored to meet each client’s unique requirements.
• Conducting technical and commercial evaluations of products and services, offering expert advice on network architecture and hardware.
• Collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure proposed solutions were both technically viable and cost-effective, always aligned with the customer’s goals.
• Preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, ensuring that the solutions were scalable, secure, and met industry standards.
• Engaging in product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC) tests, and customer meetings to address technical concerns and shape implementation strategies.Key Learnings and Achievements:

• I began my professional career at Esferize as an intern, being part of the Development team. During this period I was involved in several projects, including one focused on mathematical optimisation of cargo on trains.
• Management and operation of a Security Operations Center (SOC) at levels 2 and 3, ensuring that systems and tools were correctly configured, in line with security standards
• Training and certification on the tools used in the SOC to efficiently and effectively manage them, especially Qualys and Splunk
• Daily management of the SIEM with integration of multiple cybersecurity tools, including Firewall, Email Security, EDR, IDS, IPS, to ensure early detection and effective response to potential security threats
• Design and deployment of SIEM monitoring infrastructures (Splunk) in phases of configuring the data input from different sources, field extraction, event normalisation, log file enrichment, alert generation, use cases.
• Daily management of vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys) to automate both, web and infrastructure scans. Analyse scan results to create vulnerability mitigation plans
