I'm Arseniy Dolgov, a passionate mechatronic systems engineering student who enjoys merging the worlds of hardware and software to create innovative solutions. I love to push my problem-solving skillset to new limits and thrive in dynamic environments requiring technical expertise and creativity.As a student at Simon Fraser University, I've gained hands-on engineering experience, through professional roles and personal projects. In my software development work with Solstice Design, I've learned how to deliver effective data-driven solutions, streamline workflows, and manage project details to achieve high-quality results.I enjoy tackling challenging personal engineering projects, such as building a vacuum cleaner robot, designing a wheelchair proximity system, or optimizing a maze solver robot. In each project, I've used my skills in project management, prototyping, CAD drafting, development, and rigorous debugging to find practical solutions that meet project parameters. I always aim to deliver my best work on time, whether for personal or external projects. I take pride in going the extra mile to produce optimal solutions within a project's constraints.Leadership, collaboration, and effective communication are crucial to me. As a project lead at Solstice Design, I have led small multidisciplinary teams while leveraging modern collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, and GitHub to streamline communication. My experience with management platforms, timetabling, scheduling, and content curation has enabled me to foster productive teamwork.I'm excited to continue using my technical, analytical, and leadership abilities in collaborative environments to develop impactful engineering solutions.
