I founded Rocket Fuel Engineering Center in Prague. Starting on a green field, worked on identifying and hiring super smart engineers to build up strong teams and to take on multiple projects across Rocket Fuel Serving / Data Infrastructure, AI /ML, and DevOps.Rocket Fuel, acquired by Sizmek in September 2017, was a technology driven company with a robust Programmatic Marketing Platform based on the latest in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. The Rocket Fuel DSP Platform still provides Moment Scoring technology across over 240 billion daily bid requests (2.8 million per second on average, and 46 times the number of searches run on Google in a day). The core AI engine completes over 38 Billion decisions per second, determining which of thousands of campaigns are most appropriate for each such bid while keeping to strict SLA of 75 millisecond response per single request. The Rocket Fuel systems log hundreds of TBs per day, running on 5500+ servers that provide hundreds teraflops of compute power, TBs of RAM, and hundreds of PB storage.

Established the Sun Cloud Core Product roadmap, delivering on the engineering milestones such as Sun Public Cloud Beta & Sun Cloud Partner program.Led the Cloud Core Engineering organization, including the Q-Layer team acquired by Sun in January 2009. Evolved Q-Layer technology around requirements for Sun Public / Sun Enterprise Cloud, establishing & implementing key productization metrics while integrating it with related Sun products, technology and services. Following the success of Matisse GUI Designer, several leading Eclipse vendors had chosen to port it into their products. - NetBeans Profiler Taking NetBeans Profiler as an advanced experimental project, turned it into a standard part of NetBeans and one of the well-known NetBeans features - VisualVM: initiated and led development of a new Java Serviceability tool leveraging NetBeans Platform and NetBeans Profiler technology - NetBeans VCS support overhaulWorked with the team to perform a thorough analysis / user feedback on existing NetBeans generic support for Version Control Systems, finally coming to decision of a complete overhaul. The new CVS support was released as a part of NetBeans 5.0, turning around the users' perception and becoming a solid foundation for subsequent successful implementation of other VCS systems such as Subversion, ClearCase, Hg and others.

Conceived and led the development of Smart Pump, a multi-threaded application server platform for fully automated data transfers between Lotus Notes and relational databases (Crystal Disk Award at INVEX 98, the third largest computer & software fair in Europe)

- Designed a reusable solution for integrating Lotus Notes 3.x, 4x with Informix and Sybase relational databases. Implemented enhanced support for base RDBMS / Notes features. - Project lead / developer on the Information System for CIA (Czech State Institute of Accreditation) project - Worked as a developer on several projects such as Information System for CSNI (Czech State Institute of Normalization), Financial IS for Zelezarny Hradek a.s.
