About Syed Arshaadul Huq

A business graduate, I started my career with Brac Bank as a management trainee in 2006 where I had the opportunity to work across all the departments of the bank. I was also a Values Ambassador for the Global Alliance for Banking on Values and had successfully represented my bank in Vancouver, Canada and Berlin, Germany in 2012 and 2013 respectively. During my time at the bank, I attended numerous training's at home and abroad on Professional Work Ethics, Time Management, Decision Making and Situation Analysis and others and was also one of the lead trainers at my organization. I specialized in retail banking and concluded my banking career in 2014 as Vice President and Regional Head where I managed 10 branches and 150 full timers with over USD 100 million as funds under management.After banking, I then joined our family business and went on to being the General Manager– BPM at Calvin Group which is a 100% export oriented garments factory for three years. In 2017, I joined CrossWorld Group, a leading engineering firm providing end to end MEP solutions as Head of People Operations. At CrossWorld, I headed their HR, Admin, IT, and Corporate Affairs department till 2020. I founded Nextronic (Bangladesh) Ltd in 2009, which operates as a turnkey trade and engineering company in the vertical transportation industry (elevators & escalators). As a director, I am responsible for implementing structured policies, increasing efficiency and managing HR, IT and Business Development units. NBL is recognized as one of the best elevator providers in the country having sole distributorship of many well-known international brands such as Sakura, Japan Fuji, LG lifts and others. I am also an active director of Radiant School and College which is renowned in Chattogram city as one of the leading national curriculum schools having over 1000 students. Apart from all the above, I am an avid music lover, amateur astronomer and cue sports enthusiast such as snooker and billiards. Among many of my affiliations, I am a member of the Chittagong Club Ltd and is also an active member of the International Webring Society.
