Responsibilities: Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance Responding to breakdowns diagnosing faults Repairing equipment Supervising Foreman’s and technical staff Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings Managing budgets Maintaining statistical and financial records Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation Creating maintenance procedures Managing stocks of supplies and equipments

Duties and responsibilities: To prepare initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and etc. To maintain personal skills and development by keeping up to date with latest production and production management concept. Manage overall supervision of all nurseries including different nursery for different plants i.e. Seasonal nursery, shrubs nursery, ground cover nursery, fruit trees nursery, trees nursery, special projects plants nursery and indoor green houses). Supervise greenhouse activities related to the production nursery plants and manage activities of greenhouses system, including oversight for assurance of safe procedures and quality control. Manage overall supervision of winter and summer seasonal (selection of company for seeds collection, preparing pre plan for seed sowing, fertilizer application, integrated pest control etc). Reporting to the production manager regarding Production plan and progress. Providing technical support to the nursery Forman and solve raising problem in nurseries. Well experienced to produce plants including seasonal, indoor plants, shrubs, fruit trees, ground covers, trees, climbers, palms, succulents, vegetables Herbs, and ornamental grasses for different companies and projects in UAE. To encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving. Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. Improve plants quality by keeping continuous research on pest and disease control and Introduce new methodologies, chemicals for insect, pest and disease control. Work on Hydroponic vegetable and make feasibility report by taking data. Attend regular meetings with production team and Maintain stock of key market items provided by market team. Full command on UAE Native plants production, care and their maintenance

 Posses in depth knowledge of Horticulture plants, materials, equipments, modern techniques & practices used in production nurseries including winter and summer seasonal, indoor plants, Shrubs, fruit trees, ground covers, trees, climbers, palms, succulents, vegetables Herbs, and Ornamental grasses. Ability to plan, organize & manage overall supervision on large & medium scale nursery operations. Ability to prepare plans Initiative and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and etc. To maintain personal skills and development by keeping up to date with latest production and production management concept. Confident to handle big area for plant production nursery and its Maintenance.
