Business Analyst- Central Strategy and OperationsI joined the central team leading the expansion of leasing project which has become an independent entity itself(i.e. Ola Fleet Technologies Pvt Ltd(OFT))Ola's 'move fast fail fast' strategy needed setting up a lot of processes to scale a completely different business model. An aggregator was going asset-heavy for the first time in the Indian Internet Business.In this role, I doubled up as a data-cruncher and a process-setter. Demi-products were built for managing the life-cycles of the driver and the asset using google scripts. This ranged from the lease account management of the driver to the repair and maintenance schedule of the asset. Once the processes were set, it was time to optimize. We figured that the OFT driver's priorities was the exact opposite of the Ola drivers which led us to design a new concept called Login-Hour Bonus which resulted in the average login hour for the day moving from 9.8 to 11.7 which in-turn made the OFT's fleet operationally profitable in the Ola Platform from -8% to +5% back in 2017. As OFT raced past ahead 20000 fleet on-road across 40 cities, newer problems cropped up. Attrition of drivers and Ageing(read: Costlier to maintain) fleet. With the data gathered(both driver and asset) over the past 3 years, we're building logistic regression models which would predict which driver will attrite and which car will require an engine-overhaul if unattended for long.In between all these, I've been fortunate enough to manage the pilots and expansion within OFT 1. Expansion to the first 20 in T2/T3 cities, where I used to manage the stake-holders(Ola's existing city team on-ground and OFT) be it operations or product2. Giving Data-driven insights for the country's first connected electric mobility ecosystem in Nagpur which further helped in setting up new charging stations(locations), optimized charging schedules and profitable revenue models.

Launch Manager- Leasing 1.Sourced the Initial Set of drivers and onboarded them for the pilot. 2.Managed assets worth 7Cr(Inventory and Repair). 3.Hired and set up the new team for the second pilot which is successful and currently running 15% of Chennai's supply. 4.Led BTL Marketing initiatives to gain grounds in expansion.
