The Livelihood Restoration Project (LRP) was implemented and delivered as One-UN Program by three UN agencies, UN-FAO, UN-Women, and ILO, which was founded on human security approach, addressing a range of human security concerns through implementation of on-farm and off-farm activities with gender mainstreaming as a cross-cutting activity. I assisted smallholder farming communities and small and medium agro-based enterprises in technical skills for supporting in marketing and financial operations related to developing and improving efficiency, effectiveness, competitiveness, and profitability of agricultural value chains, with the main objective to provide economic security to the smallholder farmers/peasants of the project area.Promoted collective marketing through establishment of farmers cooperatives and organizations.

The key responsibilities included promoting livelihood diversification through the development of agricultural-based enterprises by employing principles of inclusive values chains in the severely flood-affected areas. Fostered collaborative relationships among farmer organizations, associations, and the public and private sector.

Agribusiness Development Project was jointly implemented by AKRSP and Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral region of northern Pakistan. 🔹 Formed and trained 200 enterprise groups of smallholder farmers (33% above target) during the five-year project duration within the allocated budget🔹 Mobilized farming communities to collaborate through group-based enterprises🔹 Developed liaison with Community Organizations to implement agribusiness project
