Fils with its advanced technology is bridging the gap between supply and demand side of carbon credits.Previously, I was Founder and CEO of Arabian Bourse (now Bitmena Limited) which was one of the very first to receive virtual assets MTF and Custodian approval in 2019 from FSRA (ADGM). Before Arabian Bourse I established 3 large regulated derivatives exchanges and achieved successful unicorn exits.I have diverse expertise in the complete financial markets eco-system and the technology behind it. Being at the helm of several financial exchanges, from inception, provided me detailed insight in areas of technology, operations, products, regulations, strategy, finance and marketing. With my 20 years of experience in Gulf Countries I established strong business relations with regional financial institutions and regulatory authorities. Career highlights:1) Successfully established Bahrain Financial Exchange.2) As Board Member of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) and its’ clearing corporation for 5 years, I was part of the core team to establish the exchange in a record time of 12 months from conceptualization to its launch. 3) Played key role in the establishment of MCX India which is now one of the top commodities derivatives exchanges in the world.4) Developed the Institutional Sales division of the Financial Technologies Group, becoming the Group Director and Head of Institutional Sales and Corporate Communications till 2005. As a Managing Director of the Financial Technologies Middle East, Dubai, I successfully introduced online trading, risk management and back office software of the FT Group to the brokers in the GCC.
