Since graduating in 2021, I’ve immersed myself in diverse roles within the hospitality industry. I started at a family-owned cafe/bar, serving as an all-rounder—waiter, bartender, and barista. My colleagues often relied on me for advice and guidance, similar to an unofficial supervisory role. This experience honed my ability to adapt and lead in dynamic environments.Throughout 2022, I juggled multiple jobs simultaneously, gaining invaluable insights from various managers and owners. These experiences not only strengthened my resilience but also sharpened my understanding of what employers seek in potential hires. My journey led me to McDonald’s in February 2022, where I’ve since thrived. Here, I’ve embraced leadership, training new crew members to become top performers and ensuring exceptional customer service.Parallel to my professional journey, I embarked on a double degree in Engineering and Computer Science at Monash University in 2022. My academic pursuits have equipped me with a robust foundation in IT and software engineering practices. Additionally, I’ve actively contributed to the Monash Electronic Gaming Association (MEGA), starting as a general representative and now progressing towards presidency. My role involves managing weekly events, drafting innovative ideas, and fostering community engagement. My vision as president is to elevate MEGA to new heights, ensuring every team member can contribute their best.My technical skills are extensive, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C, TypeScript, Python, and MIPS Assembly. I’m also well-versed in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Handlebars. To further enhance my capabilities, I’ve completed a six-month bootcamp specializing in Full-Stack Development, culminating in three major projects that span front-end, back-end, and full-stack web development.As a capable web developer, I’m now seeking opportunities to apply my skills and experiences in a professional setting.
