Some of my earliest business lessons weren’t learned in a classroom—they came from my dad and me debating Shark Tank pitches every Friday night. We’d analyze each deal, rating ideas and discussing whether we’d invest and why. Those lively discussions sparked my passion for entrepreneurship and ultimately inspired me to start my own business at just 14.Running a small business as a teenager was a challenge, but it was also one of the most valuable experiences I’ve had. Reinvesting profits, managing customer relationships, and handling operational tasks taught me early on about the importance of strategic thinking, financial discipline, and the many complexities of entrepreneurship.While I loved the hands-on learning, I knew that pursuing a formal business education would help me turn these early experiences into a long-term career. That’s why I’m now working toward a finance degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, focused on building my expertise in finance and management.Today, my vision is to pursue a career in private equity and corporate finance. I’m excited by the strategic and dynamic nature of these fields, where financial insight drives the growth of companies. I hope to combine my entrepreneurial background with formal finance skills to contribute meaningfully to the industry.Outside of academics and career goals, I value quality time with family, staying active, and building friendships.
