As I embark on my final year at the University of Manitoba in the Price Faculty of Engineering, I am on a mission to turn my passion for Structural Design, Project Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship, into a dynamic career. My passion for the construction industry began at a young age, I was 10 years old when I first visited a construction site with my father. Since then I have always been captivated by infrastructure design and had a strong desire to assist my father with building projects.  It was from there, that I opted to pursue a career in Civil Engineering, with a focus on structural design and project management. During my summer co-op term with Pier Solutions, I immersed myself in project management, coordinating two DFA culvert rehabilitation projects. This hands-on experience sculpted my understanding of project intricacies and paved my commitment to turning ideas into tangible successes.On campus, I've proudly led the University of Manitoba Steel Bridge Team for two years. Within the team, we've designed and fabricated steel bridges to compete in the Canadian National Steel Bridge Competition (CNSBC) organized by the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). Through this experience, I have forged bonds that will last a lifetime and have gotten opportunities that have shaped me into not just an aspiring structural engineer but also a skilled project manager and a leader.Beyond academics, I am the Co-founder and Co-host of 204 Rise, a local Winnipeg podcast that aims to document the rising talent within Winnipeg. The purpose of this podcast is to reveal the talent of the city, whether that be through music, art, and business.As I countdown to my graduation, I am actively seeking opportunities that align with my passion for structural design, project management, and leadership.
