About Arshdeep Brar

My interests lie in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and the design and analysis of structures. I have gained good experience in numerical analysis and FEA through my internships and thesis work. Now, I am looking forward to exciting work to kick-start my career as an Engineer, where I can implement the skills and knowledge gained in the past few years to real-life problems. I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow, and open to connecting with others willing to bring change via technology. Some of my interests include computer science(almost a computerphile), philosophy, history and politics.

    - Developed a unified approach to model Ductile material's behaviour for large deformation plasticity, while reducing the computational time and numerical efficiency of the solution.- Used Edge-based Smoothed Finite Element Method(ESFEM) to deal with element distortion and volumetric locking, and Bai Wierzbicki(BW) plasticity model to account for the dependence of plasticity on the stress state.- Implementation of these technologies in ABAQUS using User Element Subroutine (UEL) aided with material integration for the element.
