Sun Siyam Pasikudah Resort is a luxurious and contemporary beach resort situated on the beautiful Pasikudah beach in Sri Lanka. With 34 rooms, multiple dining options, a spa, and extensive facilities for weddings and events, the resort offers a truly unique and unforgettable experience to its guests.As the General Manager I am now responsible for leading the renovation and construction project at the Sun Siyam Pasikudah resort. By working in close collaboration with the executive team and the on-site staff I ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules for all renovation and new constructions at the resort- Oversee all project activities, ensuring they are completed within the allocated budget and timeframe- Manage a team of contractors, architects, and designers to ensure smooth execution of all projects- Work with the management team to ensure that all projects align with the Sun SIyam group's overall strategy and vision- Monitor progress and provide regular reports on the status of projects to the executive team and other stakeholders- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that the resort is at the forefront of innovation and design

My role mainly included heading the project refurbishment and renovations at Breeze Pasikudah. I am responsible for leading a team of professionals in executing various renovation and refurbishment projects for the hotel. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, I oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to renovation and final inspection.My key duties include collaborating with various stakeholders to establish project timelines, budgets, and resources; overseeing the procurement and management of contractors and vendors; ensuring quality control and safety standards are met; and communicating project progress and status updates to management and key stakeholders.Through my leadership, Breeze Pasikudah has successfully completed its renovation and refurbishment, uplifting its image as a 4-star (+) resort n Sri Lanka. The project included many areas ranging from room renovations and public space updates to the implementation of new technologies and sustainability initiatives.

Responsible for directly overseeing and coordinating the information technology-related activities of workers in a given organization. Design, installation, maintenance, support, and upgrade of operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals; monitoring and maintenance of network equipment, applications, and security; database design, development, and administration; technical support and troubleshooting; establishment and execution of backup, restoration, and anti-virus strategies; and quality assurance.Training & Lab MaintenanceOversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company training programs and the Learning Studio and provides additional support if necessary.Help Desk AdministrationOversees all help desk activities at the regional level.Responds to escalated help desk issues.Oversees the administration and maintenance of our tracking software.Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.

• Fully responsible for all operational aspects of each department in the resort.• Support and work with all resort Department heads in running the resort.• Ensure that the resort is at optimal readiness to receive guests at all times• Conduct daily briefings with relevant HOD/ staff to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, guests feeback and actions to be taken for recovery and also staff issues. Minutes of the meeting to be copied to the relevant people.• Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check for consistency regularly• Monitor purchase request for all departments• Randomly inspect all store to check expiry dates, quality , quantity, par stocks• Inspect all departments to ensure SOP implementation• Inspecting all departments with their respective department heads for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming and hospitality culture• Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process• Work with department heads to review and train staff to upkeep human capital• Identify staff learning needs and assist with human resource development• Maintain and monitor operation and overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the resort
