About Arsh Gill
Hello - I am a final year BBA student pursuing a Business major and Statistics minor, passionate about a career in Management Consulting. My career choice is inspired by my drive to problem-solve, work in teams on diverse projects, create value for clients and impact on the community. I am extremely interested in pro-bono consulting, business strategy, and data analytics. I moved to Canada from my home country India to pursue higher education and find purpose. Four years later, I have found purpose in having a sense of community and giving back to the communities through several consulting engagements in the non-profit, public, and private sectors.Non-Profit: As the Managing Director (President) at Axis Consulting, I committed to a win-win strategy to empower non-profits as well as provide student consultants with real-world client experience. Through Axis, I engaged with impactful non-profits, industry professionals, and corporate partners including the Certified Management Consultant of British Columbia (CMC-BC). I was also awarded Surrey Board of Trade’s Top 25 Under 25 for my community building efforts through Axis Consulting. As a reflection on my experiences, I co-authored an academic paper on “Experiential Learning through pro bono student consulting” with the Academic Director, Beedie School of Business. You can read it here: https://lnkd.in/eAd6Kq2DPublic: At SFU Residence & Housing, I created educational opportunities through the Residence Curriculum. As a Business Analyst with Fraser Health Authority, I was a part of a 5-year technology transformation project. As a Consultant with MaisonBlanche Consulting, I produced deliverables for public-sector clients including TransLink and provided project management advisory support on 11 infrastructure projects. Private: As a Data and Systems Analyst with Teifi Digital, a boutique consulting firm in Vancouver I had the opportunity to lead project discoveries for ERP implementations in automotive, apparel, and furniture manufacturing industries.
