The experiment measured the particle velocity, particle concentration, distribution, and pressure drop in a horizontal pipe. Phase 2:Validated CFD-DEM coupled simulations using commercial software which included comparison of turbulence models, turbulent dispersion analysis, mesh sensitivity study, and comparison between various drag laws.
