Was promoted within six months of joining Haleeb Foods Limited (HFL) and given the additional responsibility of the Treasury function in addition to financial planning. Managed relationships with some of the largest banks of Pakistan and a portfolio of over PKR 2bn (USD 20mn) long term debt and short term running finance facilities of PKR 700mn (USD 7mn). Being second to the CFO of the company, I was also responsible for ensuring effective decision making in all facets of the business and ensuring cost control.

Reportable to the CFO, this position which covered the financial planning function of HFL entailed development and management of the financial model of the company which was used to prepare the projections for financial restructuring of the Company's debt of over PKR 2bn (USD 20mn approx.). Additionally, it involved preparation of budgets, feasibility studies, enterprise cost reduction & optimization, monitoring, financial control and variance analyses/reporting.
