Responsibilities/Accomplishments:- Accurately performing installation and commissioning of switchgear, protection and control systems under refinery revamp expansion project- Leveraging expert project management skills and outstanding leadership ability to direct assigned projects including reviewing and checking electrical installation drawings and project instructions of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements- Reducing equipment downtime by performing in-house corrective maintenance of assigned area while ensuring compliance with defined SOPs- Visually communicating project programs by planning and preparing layouts/schematic drawings regarding plant modifications/up-gradations- Diligently managing and optimizing spare parts inventory by planning stock levels, ordering from suitable vendors and following with purchasing cycle using SAP & ERP Portal- Conducing root cause failure analysis of problems of electrical equipment by preventive and corrective maintenance action plans while ensuring the reliability of equipment by minimum unplanned outrage- Adroitly handling and carrying out testing/calibration of microprocessor-based protection relays and fault identification & rectification jobs of different VFDs and factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) of electrical equipment- Liaising with consultants and senior management to provide regular progress updates and ensure prompt resolution of any issues as they arise
