My responsibilities included - Planning, execution, and completion of various audit assignments including risk assessment procedures, developing audit strategy, -drafting audit programs, testing of key controls, delegations of job responsibilities, and supervision and coaching of teams. - Evaluating internal controls to ensure adherence to management policies and control requirements, identifying control weaknesses, and making appropriate recommendations to the management. - Managing end-to-end audit assignments from audit planning to completion till the signing of reports and preparing deliverables. - Conducting meetings with clients during the audit and maintaining an effective client relationship, team management, and resolving audit issues in light of IFRS, ISAs, and applicable laws and regulations. - Developing an understanding of current market/industry trends and the environment in which the clients operate. - Assisting clients in the preparation of financial statements and group reporting packages in accordance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS). - Discuss with the client’s management the significant matters including recommendations to address the identified issues. - Coordinating with third-party professionals such as actuaries, independent evaluators, lawyers, and IT experts. - Ensuring compliance with the ethics and professional requirements of the Code of Ethics at the engagement level.
