Microsoft Ad Delivery Engine is a distributed platform that supports hundreds of millions of requests for ads per day, with very tight SLA requirements. The current system has been stretched to limits in terms of capacity, given the growth of our advertising platform. Any extensibility requires costly hardware with manual installation, configuration and monitoring. Autopilot is a management layer between the OS and your distributed services, on commodity servers. Autopilot currently manages >90% of OSD servers (more than 100,000 servers) including all of Bing. Autopilot offers reduced hardware expense, reduced engineering costs and reduced operations cost. I worked on:• Worked on migrating AdCenter’s Paid Search and Contextual Search to Microsoft Cloud Autopilot.• Architected the migration of 30+ services to 10,000+ machines in the cloud.• Worked on re-architecting of Ad Delivery Infrastructure on Autopilot to meet Yahoo! scale.• Worked on designing and development of services’ topology generation and optimization on Autopilot to accommodate Yahoo! traffic.• Designed and developed monitoring tools, Watchdogs, service deployment framework, log collection and real time monitoring alerts for Autopilot.

Protein Crystallization Automation and Imaging• Worked on developing software system to automate protein crystallization process which is an initial step for drug discovery.• Main features of the system were experiment designing, liquid dispensing, image collection, image viewing and scoring, and data analysis,• This desktop application was platform independent and was being integrated with a lot of liquid dispensing and imaging systems.

Business to Business exchange portal for RBS and HSBC• Worked on developing a web portal where user can perform their end to end financial activities.• Worked on the integration layer using TIBCO products. Developed user access control and monitoring tools.
