As a Product Development Engineer at Ford Otosan, I translate innovative ideas into successful, market-ready products for high-voltage (HV) batteries. With a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, I have a deep understanding of mechanical principles and knowledge of electrical product design phenomena. I thrive on creating solutions that blend technical with user-centric design, while fostering collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams. In my current role, I am responsible for the engineering specifications, DFMEA, DVPR test plans, and sign-off documents for HV battery components, according to Ford Motor Company standards. I also perform market research, evaluate product performance against competitors, and research regulations to integrate them into the product. I have contributed to the preparation of assembly lines for mass production of light commercial and heavy duty vehicles' e-motor, e-axle, and battery, as well as the feasibility and investment studies for these projects. My diverse skill set, combined with a relentless pursuit of excellence, enables me to drive projects from concept to launch and deliver value to the customers and the company.
