My journey in academia as a Tenured Associate Professor at NUST has been both enriching and impactful. With a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, my research has been recognized with distinction, notably in Machine Learning and Emotional State Analysis from Speech Signals. I have had the privilege of supervising over 97 undergraduate and postgraduate students, including 4 PhD and 6 MS scholars currently. My contributions to science are documented in over 75 publications, spanning journals and conferences, and have been honored with awards such as the Best Research Paper at IEEE ITEC-AP 2019 and the Best Teacher Award at NUST. My commitment to the field is further evidenced by my active participation in the international academic community as a reviewer and committee member.I've actively contributed to fostering a vibrant research ecosystem within and beyond NUST, serving in various capacities such as PG Coordinator and UG Project Coordinator. This role has enabled me to mentor a diverse group of scholars, ensuring their projects not only meet but exceed academic and real-world standards. My dedication to the field is further underscored by my engagement with the global research community, reviewing for prestigious journals and serving on technical committees worldwide.
