Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
Current• Perform a manufacturing electrical engineering role on the LifeSPARC System Manufacturing and Service lines. The LifeSPARC System is intended for short-term ventricular assistance. It provides temporary mechanical circulatory support in conjunction with inflow and outflow cannula.• Responsible for writing justifications for closing out manufacturing CAPAs (Corrective And Preventative Actions).• Responsible for meeting with UL inspector during quarterly inspections.• Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and validating the tools and equipment needed to build and maintain the LifeSPARC Manufacturing and Service lines.• Responsible for designing, documenting and validating test fixtures.• Worked with Quality and Engineering to rewrite the (pFMEA) production Failure Modes Effects Analysis for the LifeSparc System Controllers and Docks.• Worked with Manufacturing group to create Manufacturing and Product Quality Plan (MPQP) for the LifeSparc System Controllers and Docks. This document outlined the plan to ensure that the manufactured product.(LifeSparc controller and dock) consistently meets established quality requirements.• Worked with Manufacturing group to write protocols to validate the LifeSPARC Manufacturing and Service lines.• Worked with Engineering and Quality on many non conformance issues.• Performed multiple updates to the Manufacturing and Service documents.
