I invented an acoustic product that rapidly became a "must have" in high end and professional audio circles. Formed ASC to fabricate the product and follow it's path. Received numerous patents on product and related improvements. This has provided a fantastic opportunity to evolve my skillset as an acoustic engineer. I specialize on developing new acoustic products and helping others debug their products. My work has given me the ability to acoustically design or revoice rooms, converting them from their original purpose to a room with an acoustic purpose. I have written many papers and articles on my work and discoveries. the most important thing for me is that acoustics is the science and hearing is the connection between the science and the person. The goal from even before day one and thru today has always been to help make people happier by giving them the hope and then the means for them to get better sounding sound; from a rebuilt old church in Romania using hay bales for acoustics to recording and mixing environments for Michael Jackson and all the people and situations in between. I'm of the age nowdays that people ask me what I'm doing with my retirement, and I tell them that I still get to go to ASC every day and work on acoustic projects. Heck, I know more now than I ever did before....and no reason to stop doing what I just love doing.
