Responsible for providing timely Engineering support of emergent issues identified by Operations and Maintenance. This support consists of the completion of repair dispositions and design / temporary modifications to address deficiencies associated with ASME Section III and B31.1 Code piping systems, as well as the performance of system specific mechanical calculations.

Member of the Design Subgroup

Currently working for FirstEnergy Fleet Quality Assurance. This is a two year rotation of assignment as a Quality Assurance Assessor. Responsible for the performance of Quality Assurance assessments of Engineering and Security activities.

Responsible for design modifications and repair dispositions of deficiencies associated with ASME Section III and B31.1 Code piping systems and components found in the Nuclear Steam Supply System, Emergency Core Cooling Systems and Balance of Plant Systems. Responsible for the performance of system specific mechanical calculations. Responsible for providing technical resolution to plant operation concerns; and responses to site and industry technical documents. Responsible for stress analysis of equipment and piping systems to ASME Section III, Section VIII and B31.1 Code requirements.

Piping draftsman responsible for piping design, equipment layout and generation of piping isometric drawings.
