Not to mention the visit to a doctor, lab or dietitian, and all the associated cost. So how to get the best nutrient status in your body possible?With Baze I embarked on a journey to make it easy and affordable, using smart software. Starting in the scale-up phase after a successful investment round I worked there to build not only backend capabilities to automate operational processes, but also capabilities to improve the user experience and also generate recommendations for proper nutrition from the data collected from the customers. After the company exit (been bought) I experienced the integration phase into a much larger organization and then left with a lot of lessons learned.

People thrive best in environments which are facilitating their needs and wishes, and provide access to all the resources necessary. For entrepreneurs and founders these environments are usually called "startup ecosystems". With Startup Heatmap Europe we want to make these ecosystems readable. There is few data and even fewer research done in that field, and quite a lot problems which could head faster towards a solution if there were insights into what a successful startup ecosystem could look like in a particular city or country, and how it's possible to implement it. As the Startup Heatmap is more concerned with the "what", the Startup City Accelerator is more concerned with the "how". We developed a program for startup ecosystem builders, representatives from startup hubs around the world, where we provide knowledge and understanding, experts from various fields and access to a network of people to solve their problems together and create the foundation on which great things can happen.I believe that we need a lot of engagement of creative and dedicated people to find and execute innovative ideas fast in the 21st century. Being part of the Startup City Accelerator team, I am able to drive it forward.

The great thing about being human is that every day brings opportunity to take it to the next level. Learning, and development of skills of leaning, is the way to go to do that, I believe. Naturally I was draws to this startup and very much like the people and also the way their product is presented and delivered. Being working on the digital part of the portfolio I had a deep insight into what soft skills and future working skills are important to learn today. I experienced first-hand why incubators and accelerators should offer such trainings and workshops more to theirs teams: though the results are hard to measure in a short time, the skills and tools learned help in pretty much every aspect of team work, project work and also communication in general.Not only was the content exciting to learn, the IT work had a lot challenges for me, too, as it was the first time I had to fill in almost every role in a software project over time, from requirements engineering to user support. A huge opportunity to learn. I am very grateful to be part of this particular project, making actual impact for people and companies, and also for me.

Skills aims to accelerate and improve integration into the labor market for refugees, using mobile e-learning, focusing on areas of crafting and trading. Skills closes the gap between basic language learning and acquiring a qualification, which needs specific language training and an understanding for culture and official affairs.

Since starting learning playing instruments I fancied playing in a band. Over time I have joined and founded some bands, ultimately being Furious Anger the most successful (for a hobby-like band) I joined. We've played in 7 countries in the EU, had tours and were playing at the Rockharz Festival in Germany. Being able to write, record and publish a demo, LP and an EP, which we sold as CDs and also on Spotify, iTunes, and other platforms, was a great experience. I love delivering a great experience on stage, and kind of scaling it was exciting, too. These probably was the time where I had really hands-on experience in project and tour management, online and social media marketing, brand building, and more. We didn't go for a more professional game, though I would've given it a good shot.
