The role of head of mining development department is management of the CAPEX projects starting from the engineering till it’s realization, ensure complience of technological process to the conditions in accordance to required technology, development of mining departments strategy (2 open pits, undeground mine and benificiation complex), management of the continious improvement process. As part of the Mining Strategy team, primarily responsible for leading or facilitating analysis and projects of key strategic importance to the Group, development of long term productional plans and CAPEX program in accordance to the Company’s mission and vision. Responsible for coordination the activity of the different departments of the plant to ensure successfull implementation of the new improvement projects, steering continuous improvement activities according to the WCM methodology, analyze, challenge and propose technical solutions, ensure right allocation of resources and competencies to stick to the initial planning of the projects. Responsible for development of short and medium terms production plans for open pit mines, support of the daily productional activities, research and implement actions for optimization of the current mining processes focused on capacity increase and quality improvement.Responsibilities:• Development of current and future schemes, studies, techniques for projects in all technological processes of mining operations.• Development and provision of graphic materials and summary tables of the KPI of perspective, annual, quarterly and monthly programs of mining operations.• Development and preparation of reports, calculations, references, technical and economic KPI and activities for mining operations, new technologies, rationalization, environment, passports of mass explosions and technical information.• Development of the necessary administrative documentation to the project of mass explosions and explosions of unconditional pieces of rocks.• Calculations of the parameters for drill holes charges and explosions of unconditional pieces of rocks• Improvement of production technologies in order to increase productivity, reduce labor intensity and improve safety at mining operations.• Contribute to the implementation at the production level Company’s H&S policies.Achievements:• Acting Chief minning engineer of the department (2 open pits with capacity of 26 mln. tonnes per year)• Developed automated forms for environmental reporting, calculation of excavation and loading equipment performance and digitization of technological passports for drilling and mining works in open pits• Took the first place in conference of young experts (Topic: influence of the size of a piece of a blasted rock on the costs of the entire process and maintenance)• Participated in reduction of dump rocks in 2009 ( Reduced the stripping ratio from 0,6 t/m³ to 0,3 t/m³)
