About Artem Strukov
I've always been fascinated by building and dissassembling complex systems. When I was young, it sparked my interest in several fields such as computer science and human antropology. System design was a field I've been particularly drawn to, which probably comes as no surprise. Creating complex and scalable software solutions and smoothly integrating them into different environments is what I enjoy doing, and getting paid for it is really just a bonus. In addition, my fields of interest include evolutionary psychology and its application to marketing and business strategies, game theory and mechanism design theory in the context of goods distribution and goods procurement processes. Another thing that fascinates me is the human brain and the way the way it's micro-circuitry works, which is not completely understood by scientists even now. I would like someday to use my professional skills of system design and software development in the medical field of research and work in the fields of systems biology and systems neuroscience. I think that systems neuroscience in particular is really important and promising scientific field for understanding the really complex and advanced system called the human brain.

CurrentI've been developing web based solutions for managing Small to Mid Tier organisations. In the earlier years they were mostly monolith solutions, but now I mainly focus on the development of the distributed systems using microservice architecture.

I was responsible for the designing microservices architecture, back-end development and maintenance of the pipeline of making and sending shipments of the B2B logistics management solution.Pipeline was a choreography of few microservices designed to put, review, approve/reject, send and track shipments. Parcel Tracking system has been processing around 20k packages daily. Dozens of small and mid tier businesses successfully solved their logistical challenges using this solution. I was also leading efforts in developing system of company tax information management.
