Later I took on engineering for the entire Finance product, one of the crown jewels of Yahoo! with 200M MAUs and the leading finance retail consumer brand in the world.At Huge, led a large, global engineering team delivering experiences and products for world’s premiere brand names. In addition to strategic & operational modes, I make it a point to stay close to all architecture & stack decisions as well as evangelize new technology.At Thomson Reuters, I was the Global Head of Media Technology responsible for the worldwide Reuters content distribution: text, pictures and broadcast video. Drove a major initiative to comprehensively introduce High Def Video. Managed large-scale distribution platforms as well as the supporting capabilities like Ingestion, Search, Entitlements & Analytics engines. Built a cloud-based white label web content management system and used it to host the Reuters Olympics 2012 web & mobile coverage. Prior to leading Media, fully revamped the News infrastructure behind Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk offerings like Eikon, Thomson One & Xtra: global, real-time ingest, store & search capability.
