As an Art Specialist, I design and implement creative programs that enhance the artistic skills and well-being of elderly and adults with disabilities. I have over seven years of experience in this role, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology.What I know for sure is that everyone has the ability to create, and the desire for an inspired lifeI draw inspiration from my diverse background in television, movies, fashion, antiques, and business consulting, as well as my knowledge of art history and modern trends. I have collaborated with various organizations and clients, such as the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource Center, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's Orchkids, The Rawlings Conservatory & Botanic Gardens, and the YMCA of Maryland,to create projects that are playful, thoughtful, and meaningful. My mission is to transform how we teach art to adults with disabilities, and to empower them to express themselves creatively and confidently.
