About Andrew Taylor

I help arts management professionals improve their practice and ignite their impact. Over three decades as a teacher, scholar, author, and consultant, I've worked to define, refine, and reimagine what it means to lead nonprofit arts organizations, and how to stay human and humane along the way. I'm a tenured Associate Professor of Arts Management at American University in Washington, DC, where I direct the graduate degree and certificate programs in Arts Management. I'm board chair of the national artist and creative team support organization Fractured Atlas. I co-edit *Artivate: A Journal of Entrepreneurship in the Arts*. And I'm building a free, online, connected resource for arts management practitioners at artsmanaged.org.
