I assisted staff with community outreach regarding the Healthy Long Beach campaign, which focused on the COVID-19 response in Long Beach.

I mentored incoming graduate students with transitioning to their first year at the California State University, Long Beach. Through one-on-one virtual meetings, I supported my assigned mentee(s) by helping them find resources and support services, navigating through graduate life, and building lifelong connections throughout the academic year.

I assisted in grading assignments and exams for lower division courses and proctored exams at the request of faculty. In addition, I lectured about physical geography topics, such as global warming and climate change.

I worked closely with the site coordinator in completing necessary paperwork, managing rosters/attendance sheets, and planning events/activities. I also assumed leadership of the program site and managed the staff in absence or request of the site coordinator.
