I am a clinical research scientist with over 8 years of experience, specializing in Neuroscience and Psychiatry. During my doctorate in Neuroscience at Queen's University, I assessed the efficacy of a novel therapeutic known as Microbial Ecosystem Therapeutic-2 in treating symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder. I also worked on clinical trials looking at the efficacy of antidepressant medications, electroconvulsive therapy, and ketamine in treating bipolar and unipolar depression. My academic journey has driven my interest in unconventional and preventative therapies for mental illnesses. My experience also extends to being an instructor for undergraduate Clinical Psychology at Queen's University, where I had the privilege of sharing my knowledge of mental illnesses and therapies to future minds in the field. I am passionate about disseminating important scientific knowledge and creating meaningful impacts in healthcare through meticulous research and innovation.
