Art Howe is a former Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who has spent 30 years starting and building transformative media, technology and life science companies. He is currently co-founder and CEO of Imtol, Inc., a Philadelpia-based biotech company developing a therapy for multiple sclerosis. It was acquired in 2020 by MGI Group Howe has been a board member, board chair, and advisor to many technology and media companies, including Candid (www.candid.org), the world's largest information source on nonprofit organizations and foundations. Howe has received numerous journalism and public service recognitions, including the Pulitzer Prize, the Scripps Public Service Award, and the inaugural Ben Franklin Award for publishing excellence. Recently, he was inducted into the Pennsylvania Publishers Association Hall of Fame. Two alternative weeklies he operated, the Village Voice and the LA Weekly, won Pulitzer Prizes for international reporting and commentary. Howe holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School.
