Lead multiple business analysis design and testing projects in support of an initiative to transition operations of Bridgewater Associates’ $150 billion AUM to BNYM’s asset servicing platform. Managed teams of up to five professionals to design and conduct functional, integration, E2E, regression, and user acceptance testing on portfolio accounting software and applications using the Agile approach to project management. Built teams and delegated assignments to leverage individuals’ strengths while fostering staff development. Orchestrated projects by establishing timelines, designing testing plans, writing SQL code, developing complex Excel models, and validating output prior to releasing applications to the production environment. Partnered with Bridgewater Associates front office staff and BNYM employees across departments to develop and conduct robust testing strategies.• Lead team of BAs to research all potential cash, trade, and life-cycle events across 17 BW asset classes, and created requirements and user stories as well as developed SQL to extract and translate relevant economic NAV/GAV data from BNYM’s Eagle/PACE portfolio accounting system for vendor reconciliation tool (Security Level GAV extract). • Designed and built two new regulatory reports, 13F and Large Position Report, frequently performed scrum master duties and responsibilities, and headed BA, Dev, and QA efforts to migrate 25 reg, client, and QA reports to run off new data warehouse, including SFTP file transfer, exporter/importer setup, and report re-design when necessary. • Analyzed data flow, deciphered SQL and VBA extraction and translation logic, and coded new logic in user stories to replace a proprietary and unsupported in-house reconciliation tool (Legacy Lite) for 17 BW asset classes between BNYM’s Eagle/PACE portfolio accounting system and BW’s legacy portfolio accounting system, Bridget/BPAS.
